blue sky, sunshine, and little flowers

Yesterday was gorgeous. 80 degrees. Luscious breeze. Perfect sky.

That's saying something. Cause today....it is rainy, bleary, and freezing. Literally.

So I decided to share some pictures with you guys from yesterday. Not today. Just two.

{I have the happiest dogs in creation.}

{Our driveway is pretty gorgeous. You can't really see it in this pic though...} :D

So tomorrow is our choir's music federation contest. It will be super fun. The choir director asked me to sing the high D for one of the songs, even though I am not in the choir this year, but am a teacher. I'm excited!!!

Oh. And I am working on something pretty exciting to launch on the blog. I'll tell you all about it soon, hopefully, once I figure out the loose wires. :D It should be pretty fun!! I'll give you a hint. It has to do with pictures.

Also, random announcement: I am on instagram!!! If any of you care to follow, I am at myunicornhaswings. :D

Sleep tight, my friends!

  1. You can hit high D? Not fair! Well... I can hit high D when I'm really warmed up in my head voice. Normally C is about as far as I can go. So.... grrrrrr. You hitting high D is cool. ;)

    Your dogs are beauteous.

    1. Hahahaha!!! I have always been able to sing ridiculously high. It comes from my grandpa. He had an awesome high voice for a man. :D And wow! THANK YOU for saying head voice. Everyone says falsetto. No. Only boys have falsetto voices. :D I like you better than ever! And I already liked you!!! ~_* So thanks.

Aren't they!!! I love them so much!! Such dollies... <3

    2. Is that D-with-the-two-ledger-lines D? Because I find that practically impossible. I've rarely met anyone who could sing a G. (Including myself. I'm an Alto all the way--low G to C--not that I sing much.) :) That's really impressive, Caitria!

    3. Hehe, I've been taking singing classes at the college since ninth grade, so I know the difference between head voice and falsetto. It's like, ONLY guys have falsetto! Some girls can occasionally do whistle tone, but that's not the same thing. Hahaha.

      Awwwwww.

  2. Oops!! I posted a comment for you but in the wrong place, LOL! it's under the "Girl inside" section.

  3. Well, I can't sing, so I won't comment on the high D. ;) Weelll, actually, Mime says I sing high, but in a squeaky and irritating way, but I'm very bad at keeping in tune. Which is strange coming from a person who plays so many instruments. Keep me on the piano, guys. It'll save your ears.

Something involving photos!?! Oh, I'm so CURIOUS!!

  4. Thanks : ) Tags are a lot fun, but I had a hard time with my own 11 facts about my life, because I find my life generally boring...

I would have tagged you, but normally other people beat me to it!

I'm sincerely wondering if you are going to comment. Given you just read that blog post (or maybe skim read, at best, or maybe you've just skipped to the bottom). But, either way, whether you read it or not, NOW you have no doubt that I am crazy, are wondering if I am worthy of your time, and if it even matters that you say something. BUT, it does!!! Drop me a line! Can't tell you I will always respond coherently, but I WILL respond! And the comments... Well, they rather make my days. <3
