Songs That I Love

So I am always rambling on about how much I love music. And yet I have never shared with you what kind of music I like. What songs touch me deep down. Why they speak to me in soft whispers.

My sister Brisa says I like “sad” songs. I preferred to always call them peaceful.
Friday my friend Jonnah accidentally pegged a better word for it: mellow. ;) Thanks Jonni!
So here is a list of my favorite songs, mellow, one and all. ~_*

Don’t Give Up {You Are Loved} ~ Josh Groban

Instrument of Peace ~ Canadian Tenors
Dark Waltz ~ Hayley Westenra
{I have no idea if this video is good...I just know the song is. :D}
When You Believe ~ Prince of Egypt Soundtrack

The Awakening ~ Sing His Praises Choir {I’m singing in it!!!}
I Only Know How To Love ~ Canadian Tenors

{I would so live in this house.}
So She Dances ~ Josh Groban
Walking in the Air ~ Chloe Agnew
{Once again, I haven't a clue about this be careful and maybe just listen.}
I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You ~ The Mask of Zorro Sountrack
{One of my all time favorite songs. Pretty sure this will be played at my wedding.}
‘Til I Hear You Sing ~ Ramin Karimloo
Empty Chairs and Empty Tables ~ Eddie Redmayne
{This song never fails to make to make me cry.}

And I am a big fan of all things soundtrack, especially if they are minor {sad… ;)}
I could listen to these songs over and over and over. In fact, I do. :D
Well, there. Now you have a list of my favorite songs. Not sure what you plan on doing with it, but you have it nonetheless! :D

More news on life coming later.....

;) <3

  1. you have epic taste in music. obviously, i mean, that selection {although i didn't listen to half of it! haha ;) } is grreeaatt!

  2. YOU listen to all the same music I do! *happiness* Josh Groban is awesome. Have you heard his new CD yet? It's really, really good. It's a bit different from what he's done before (his last two are a lot the same style) But one song, Happy in My Heartache... made me cry a li'l. lol here's the linky. also, if you can find "Changing Colors" you should listen to it. I'm hoping to sing it next time I take a voice class at the college. :)

    OOOOOOOOOOOH I want to spend my lifetime loving you! I had given up on anyone else knowing that song. I love the lyrics so much. :)

    1. Hurrah!!! That is definitely happiness! I'm going to check out those two songs right now! Thanks!

      Ahhh! Me too!!! Always will be one of my favorite songs. The first I heard it...yeah...nearly died. Incredible. Forever and ever. :D

  3. "When You Believe" is my favourite song right now - I listen to it whenever i can because it makes me happy.

    And i will join you in the pit of tears over Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. I literally cannot take listening to that song alone. It destroys me.

    Not heard the rest of these yet though . . . time to do so, I think!

    1. Yes. Very happy. That is soooo neat!!! I have a lot of friends who love the Prince of Egypt soundtrack too. It's just really, really good.

      Thank you. We can hand each other tissue and pat each other on the back. ;)

      Yeah! What did you think of them?

  4. That song! The Dark Waltz! I'm flawed. (Is that the right spelling? Or is it floored?) That is SO HIGH. And beautiful. And the Walking in the Air song. Sniff.

    1. Haha!! It's floored. ;) I know! They are both SOOOO beautiful! :D

  5. JOSHUA GROBAN!!!!! *Melts* Best voice ever!

    You should listen to Joshua Bell's Red Violin.... It is beautiful, some of it is minor, all of it is sad. :-)

    1. I have!!! It's gorgous! Well, some of it... Youtube only has one or two vids for it.... :(

  6. Sad music is inspiring. (Josh Groban. *Grin* Love his music)
    But, I understand what you mean. I like sadder songs as well.

  7. Oh, I love all those songs. Of course, Josh is the best, but still...

    I have nominated your for *another* blog award, which you may accept or decline as the mood takes you. :)

    1. :D He is awesome.

      Ok, thanks, I go check it out!!! :D

I'm sincerely wondering if you are going to comment. Given you just read that blog post (or maybe skim read, at best, or maybe you've just skipped to the bottom). But, either way, whether you read it or not, NOW you have no doubt that I am crazy, are wondering if I am worthy of your time, and if it even matters that you say something. BUT, it does!!! Drop me a line! Can't tell you I will always respond coherently, but I WILL respond! And the comments... Well, they rather make my days. <3
