Songs That I Love

So I am always rambling on about how much I love music. And yet I have never shared with you what kind of music I like. What songs touch me deep down. Why they speak to me in soft whispers.

My sister Brisa says I like “sad” songs. I preferred to always call them peaceful.

Friday my friend Jonnah accidentally pegged a better word for it: mellow. ;) Thanks Jonni!

So here is a list of my favorite songs, mellow, one and all. ~_*

Don’t Give Up {You Are Loved} ~ Josh Groban

Instrument of Peace ~ Canadian Tenors

Dark Waltz ~ Hayley Westenra

{I have no idea if this video is good...I just know the song is. :D}

When You Believe ~ Prince of Egypt Soundtrack

The Awakening ~ Sing His Praises Choir {I’m singing in it!!!}

I Only Know How To Love ~ Canadian Tenors

{I would so live in this house.}

So She Dances ~ Josh Groban

Walking in the Air ~ Chloe Agnew

{Once again, I haven't a clue about this video...so be careful and maybe just listen.}

I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You ~ The Mask of Zorro Sountrack

{One of my all time favorite songs. Pretty sure this will be played at my wedding.}

‘Til I Hear You Sing ~ Ramin Karimloo

Empty Chairs and Empty Tables ~ Eddie Redmayne

{This song never fails to make to make me cry.}

And I am a big fan of all things soundtrack, especially if they are minor {sad… ;)}

I could listen to these songs over and over and over. In fact, I do. :D

Well, there. Now you have a list of my favorite songs. Not sure what you plan on doing with it, but you have it nonetheless! :D

More news on life coming later.....

  2. YOU listen to all the same music I do! *happiness* Josh Groban is awesome. Have you heard his new CD yet? It's really, really good. It's a bit different from what he's done before (his last two are a lot the same style) But one song, Happy in My Heartache... made me cry a li'l. lol here's the linky. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEnWICnNfkY also, if you can find "Changing Colors" you should listen to it. I'm hoping to sing it next time I take a voice class at the college. :)

    OOOOOOOOOOOH I want to spend my lifetime loving you! I had given up on anyone else knowing that song. I love the lyrics so much. :)

  3. "When You Believe" is my favourite song right now - I listen to it whenever i can because it makes me happy.

    And i will join you in the pit of tears over Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. I literally cannot take listening to that song alone. It destroys me.

    Not heard the rest of these yet though . . . time to do so, I think!

  4. That song! The Dark Waltz! I'm flawed. (Is that the right spelling? Or is it floored?) That is SO HIGH. And beautiful. And the Walking in the Air song. Sniff.

I'm sincerely wondering if you are going to comment. Given you just read that blog post (or maybe skim read, at best, or maybe you've just skipped to the bottom). But, either way, whether you read it or not, NOW you have no doubt that I am crazy, are wondering if I am worthy of your time, and if it even matters that you say something. BUT, it does!!! Drop me a line! Can't tell you I will always respond coherently, but I WILL respond! And the comments... Well, they rather make my days. <3
